EVANGEL RESOURCE NETWORK - WORD-UP!

"Going Home"
It seems that more frequently now days the saints are going home.

One by one they pass away as friends and family moan.

It's hard to think the ones we love will go away in time.

But every one of us some day must leave this world behind.

They brought us joy and gave us love that only they could give.

Finding strength to face each day in knowing Jesus lives.

They're gone, but we have hope in God's word just as they did.

Mark 12:27 says he is God of the living not the dead.

So they're not dead, they are still alive. In fact they're doing just fine.

No more hurt, no more pain and no more troubles in mind.

Yes they're all right and in good company too with the saints who've gone before.

Willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.

So don't be discouraged. Fill the hole in your heart with this hope only God can
provide...

That we see them again if we live as they live so we are not left behind.

Written 06/09/05 in remembrance of Elder Wilbert Miller and all our loved ones going home.

EVANGEL RESOURCE NETWORK - WORD-UP!
03/23/10 7:40 AM
Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. Heb 10:38,39
This is another verse which speaks in context to the second coming of our Lord. However, it declares the principle of faith, without which it is impossible to please God or even ourselves for that matter. But hey! We don't draw back, we don't back down and we don't give up. We find out what God's word says about our situation, then we speak it and stand on it!
Come on saints... for we are more than conquerors through Christ!

EVANGEL RESOURCE NETWORK - WORD-UP!

03/17/10 11:35 PM

Take heed, watch and pray. For you know not when the time is. Mar 13:33

Although this verse of scripture is taken from the context of Christ's second coming, it applies to every situation where faith is required. Have you been waiting for God to show up? Are you in need of physical healing or maybe financial blessing. Well whatever the case may be, do you remember how you felt when you first believed God concerning your situation? The longer you have to wait the more you may grow warry of (watching) waiting expectantly for God's word to manifest in your life. How do you know that faith is working in you?

You can tell you are in faith because you are excited and happy about what you are expecting (whatching for). You may know in your spirit that God is faithfull and his word is true but that isn't enough. Knowledge of the truth and faith in it are not the same thing. It is by faith that we must obtain God's promises. You must not only know in your spirit but you must also believe in your heart. The (pneuma) spirit of faith can only produce results for the (soma) natural man if it effects the (psyche) heart.

For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Rom 8:25

Manifest Your Destiny

The world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God.
Accomplish your PURPOSE in life
by using the POWER he gave you
to PRACTICE his will in the earth,
he shall reward you according to your PERFORMANCE.
If you follow his PLAN for your life
when the PROCESS is completed
you will be PERFECTED.

Who's Your Daddy?

Who's Your Daddy?

Children usually tend to take after their parents.Well it's the same in the spirit as it is in the natural.
" I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.  They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. "  Joh 8:38,39

What if you could choose your parents
You can't help who your parents are in the natural but you can in the spirit... (Ye must be born again)

"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. " Mat 5:44,45

"While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light." Joh 12:36

"If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him." 1Jn 2:29

R U Perfect?

R U Perfect?

Nobody's Perfect... Right?

While this saying is politically correct it is a very false statement.  At least it should be for a born again believer (Joh 3:2-8 says we are born of God's perfect Spirit and according to 1 Pet 1:23 it is incorruptible ).

The idea that we are to strive to meet a standard set by God while knowing we can never meet that standard in this life; this is a perversion of the gospel.

The church has taught that we helplessly continue to sin daily even after we are born again but the scripture clearly states the contrary. God's word says that those who are born again do not sin and in fact cannot sin because they are born of God. 1 Jn 3:9 again, that's incorruptible seed.

OK hold up, You mean that a born again believer Doesn't Sin? How can you say that?
First of all I didn't say it, God did.
1Jn 5:18  We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

Consider the three parts of man:

Pneuma-Your spirit was born perfect by the Holy Spirit.
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever. 1Pe 1:23

Psyche-Your soul is perfected through faith in Christ's blood atonement.
For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? Heb 9:13,14
By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. Heb 10:10
Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Heb 13:20,21
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1Jn 1:7

Soma- You will have a perfect body in the resurrection.
What is sin? There are sins of commission, that is acting contrary to what we are commanded by law.
Then there are sins of omission, that is neglecting to act as we should. (Jas 4:17) to him that knows to do good and doesn't do it, it is sin.

Does God really expect us to live a sinless life? Well, we have been conditioned to expect sin for so long that our hearts have become hardened somewhat that we would accept it in our lives. However, I just can't imagine God commanding us to do something all the while knowing that even a born again spirit filled believer would not be able to do it.
